It is being recently reported that the giant automobiles of India, Tata Motors is heading towardshitting yet another jackpot by expanding the capacity of its small car ‘Nano’. Popular for producing some best innovative sales strategies, the company is assumed to launch a new variant of Nano soon after taking a glance at the demand received from the tier I and tier II cities.
Earlier the probabilities seemed like Nano would be driven in diesel before 2013, but now it has been confirmed that Tata Nano diesel will go into production by 2012 end.
Tata Motors had displayed the Nano CNG at the 2012 Indian Auto Expo, and at that time many people were very much interested in this car, because of its low running prices of CNG when compared to petrol, and it is also contemplated that the Nano in CNG variant would be a dual fuel car, which even sustains petrol as a fuel option too.
As per the reports the launch of Nano diesel variant will be launched in 2013. The price of the Nano diesel will be 30% more than the petrol variant. The diesel variant model will be powered by twin cylinder 700-800 cc DICOR and the engine will be first utilized in the Tata Ace.
The network base will extend further as intended by Tata Motors from 130 to 300 by the end of this year.
Since its launch, for the first time the sales figure of Tata Nano will cross 10,000 units last month. Though the figure is not close to what Tata was anticipating, but still they are trying their level best.
