Micromax brand is very much popular among its audience in our country, especially for their handsets because they provide a good consumer base. Yesterday they launch Micromax Funbook Android Tablet in Indian and in a very short time Micromax intends to launch a phonewith a built-in solar charger. The phone will be charged for 3 hours in order to support 1.5 hours of talktime.
Micromax brand has earlier launched a variety of handsets with orderly features like dual SIM capabilities, handsets featuring above average battery life and other appealing characteristics. The brand’s tagline says, ‘Nothing like anything’.
Now Micromax is coming with unnamed handset which will allow to charge the phone in a easy way.
According to Rahul Sharma, co-founder and executive director, Micromax, “Firstly we launched the long battery life phones, dual SIM phones and many more. Our new introduction is to get off from the mobile phone charger by involving a solar panel in our next phone. The solar charger will be charged in 3 hours to support 1.5 hours of talk-time,” who told The Mobile Phone.
As per Rahul Sharma, it will not be a smartphone, rather it will be a feature phone. The launch is most probably anticipated within a week. No further details were revealed by Rahul.
Micromax will not be the first manufacturer to execute a solar panel as a means of charging. Earlier Vodafone has released VF 247 at a price of Rs 1,500, a basic phone including voice and text features along with FM radio, color display and solar panel at the back.
However coming to the upcoming phone of Micromax, it is going to be rich in other distinct features. They may possess different features which are not found in common phones, but extra features put them above the basic mobile phones.
