Audience has been waiting since long to watch Kareena-Ranbir on-screen. Finally the real life cousins Kareena Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor have decided to come together for Zoya Akhtar’s film who given many blockbuster movies like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
Earlier the glam cousins of B-Town avoided from working together on big screen, because their relationship as real life brother and sister kept them apart from pairing up romantically.
But it was Zoya Akhtar, the director who came up with strong script, and thus managed to get a nod from Kareena-Ranbir with the role of sis-bro in her next film. This has been the much-awaited unison of B-Town.
Zoya got engaged with the script for some time and recently persuaded them to play the lead roles, as per Mumbai Mirror.
While shooting for Talaash, Zoya narrated the story idea to Kareena and she loved it and said yes. So as Ranbir Kapoor too gave his consent after going through her script.
A source said to the tabloid, “Both Ranbir and Kareena always knew that they couldn’t pair romantically for any film. A remarkable script was required to bring them together for any project. Zoya Akhtar did exactly the same, as she came up with a nice, exciting script. The film will most probably be released by the end of this year.”
Zeenat Aman-Dev Anand in Hare Rama Hare Krishna and Shah Rukh Khan-Aishwarya Rai in Josh are few of the examples of sis-bro.
Zoya will be yet again refreshing the brother-sister relationship genre. Hence she managed to come up with real life siblings Ranbir and Kareena for her film.
