Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra have been blessed with a baby boy. In the early morning todayMay 21, bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty delivered her first baby at Hinduja Healthcare Surgical hospital in Khar, Mumbai. Both mother and child are healthy now.
Shilpa’s husband Raj Kundra tweeted excitedly, “God has blessed us with a beautiful baby boy. Both mother and baby are good. I am delighted to bits!”
He’s extremely grateful to his wife and the hospital staff, “A huge thank you to my wife for giving me the biggest gift ever, Dr Kiran Cohelo and all the staff at Hinduja Hospital!”
“From the start till Shilpa was admitted in the hospital till her delivery time early morning, Raj Kundra was by his wife’s side constantly. When he saw his baby, he finally went back home to take rest. The baby and mother are fine now. Every from Raj’s family and Shilpa’s family, involving sister Shamita and mother Sunanda were present in the hospital. Baby was delivered by Dr Kiran Coelho. The due date of Shilpa was on Sunday and she had gone for routine check-up. When contractions had started, the doctors advised her to get admitted soon,” said a source close to Shilpa.
Shilpa and Raj are over the moon. Raj responds, “Hip hip hurray! It’s a baby boy. Both mom and baby are fine!”
Shilpa and Raj have been married and settled together for 3 years. Shilpa’s sister Shamita had thrown a baby shower for her elder sister on May 4. This is Shilpa-Raj’s first baby.
