Since Google Chrome team has promised to release a new version of Chrome browser every 6 weeks, they have never looked back, and here’s one more update to the fast growing web browser. Google Chrome 19 lands in the Dev version and it’s available for the early testing phase with developers and Chrome lovers. The Dev channel has been updated to 19.0.1036.7 for Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome Frame.
It’s the first Dev build of Google Chrome 19 and as I can see there is no change in the interface. Earlier we have seen revamped extension page in Google Chrome 18 Dev build, which is going to enter in the beta channel very soon. In Google Chrome 19, the V8 Javascript engine has been updated to V8 – 3.9.4.0 version.
Google Chrome 19 brings a new Spellchecker that will show spelling suggestions for misspelled words powered by Google itself. However, it is not mentioned that how the new spellchecker is different than the browser’s current spellchecker. This build contains following updates :
If you’re already using the Google Chrome 18 Dev, you’ll be shortly updated to the latest Dev build. If you’re a impatient soul like me, go ahead and check for the updates yourself by going to the wrench menu and then selecting ‘About Google Chrome’. It will check for the latest updates. Those of you who want to try Dev channel for the first time, they can download for your preferred operating system from the links below.
