Audi launches the sporty S4 in India at Rs 45L onwards

Audi, the German luxurious car manufacturer has announced the launch of a new model, Audi S4 in the Indian market on Monday June 4. The model is equally strengthened in style and dynamism. Audi S4 is priced at Rs 45L or Rs 45,31,000 onwards (ex-showroom Maharashtra).

Audi S4 is powered by a V6 3.0 TFSI engine with a steady speed of 100 km/h in 5 seconds.

On the day of the launch, Audi India Head Michael Perschke told, “There has been a magnificent growth in sales in the first 5 months of this year; the Audi TT launch, the new Audi A4 and nowAudi S4 in 2012 is proving to be great for us. Soon after the initiation of Audi A4, many Audi fans requested us for Audi S4, and thus we are here fulfilling their demand. Audi S4 will be equally successful in its sales as its predecessors.”

During January to May of 2012, there is a growth of 37% Audi as it sold around 3,281 vehicles, when compared to the sale of 2,394 vehicles in the same period in 2011. Hence the delivery recorded 450 cars in May 2012, an increase of 10% in the same period last year.

By the end of 2012, Audi is planning to extend its branch to 25 dealerships from the current 19 centers.

Sporty Audi S4 features

• Audi S4 is a speedy, powerful sports car.
• The new model consists of a six-cylinder power plant which comes with a combination of 245 kW (333 hp) of power and 440 Nm of torque with consumption of fuel of 10.34 kmpl as per ARAI.
• Acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.0 secs.
• Maximum speed limit is of 250 kmph (155.34 mph).
• Audi S4 includes hexagonal single-frame grille, the wedge-shaped xenon headlights clasped in LED daytime running lights, LED rear lights, new bumpers and exterior mirrors.
• It has arrived with a seven-speed S tronic.
• The diameter of the wheels are 18 inches.
• The inside, the new model includes a leather multifunction sport steering wheel with a redesigned S4 badge and flat-bottomed rim approachable as a sporty option.
• The color of Audi S4 is vibratious red and grey.
