• Reliance Communications launched Android CDMA Tablet priced at Rs. 12,999

    This is another landmark of Reliance Communications (RCom) as they have recently launchedIndia’s first CDMA network technology driven tablet computers. A few months back, they have also launched its tablets in 3G networks.
    The price of the new tablet is Rs. 12,999. It functions on Reliance High Speed Gata CDMA network across 1,000 towns of our country.


    As per stated by Reliance Communications official, they are the first telecom operator in India to present tablet to the people on both 3G and CDMA networks.
     

    Features of Reliance CDMA Tab

    • The 7-inch Reliance CDMA Tab runs a fully loaded Android 2.3, a 512 MB RAM and a micro SD external storage, a 2.0 megapixel camera, a front facing VGA camera.
    • The tablet also involves 512 MB RAM and a micro 4 GB SD external storage, expandable up to 32 GB.
    • It will come preloaded with 15 distinct popular apps in order to provide information services (browsing, navigation maps and search), communication services(email, blog, SMS, and MMS),entertainment(music, video, and games), social networking (Facebook) etc, but RCom did not disclose, of which processor 800MHz which is used in their 3G Tab.
    • The CDMA Tab approaches with the availability of post paid plans which offers discounts up to 40 per cent on the regular rates to appeal the customers.
    • The plans will arrive along with default voice tariff plan of 50 paise per minute for intra and inter cities, apart from 50 paise for local and national SMS.
    Around 30 tablet brands are available in India ranging between Rs. 24,000 and Rs. 46,000 in prices. As the prices are quite cheap, it will surely attract many customers whole over the country.
