SYDNEY: It is been stated by Australia that it would drag the Apple company to the court for confusing the consumers for higher sell on its new gadget iPad. The claim is Apple has adverts that the new iPad can connect to 4G networks but it was misleading to the users. All theAustralian competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) stated that they are looking for the orders against Apple on Wednesday in Federal Court. All these action was over its local gadget “iPad with 4G+WiFi” promotion. All these claims were just because of its false advertisement regarding the 4G frequency which is not available in their country.
It symbolizes to Australian consumers that this device “iPad with 4G+WiFi” can connect to 4G mobile data network in Australia, but it doesn’t happening. Here, all that ACCC wants is to ensure each and every consumer that they be aware of each and every technical abilities of their gadget. They also asked to advertise correctly and refund all the consumers who are affected.
It is been announced by the California based Apple company that it sold almost three million tablet computers that too in its first week in the market. But the strongest iPad is not launched yet. It is not the first case that Apple is landing in Australia’s courts, as it is legal battle there are many rivals for Apple Company. Samsung is one of the rivals of Apple over the tablet rights. There are many global fights for the superiority of $100 billion market.
