• You Can Now Watch Indian TV Shows On Youtube

Back in 2009, Youtube launched a new ‘Television Shows’ section where anyone could watch full length TV shows for free. At the time it was launched, the service was first made available only to US citizens and then it gradually rolled out to other parts of the world. Indian TV viewers, you’ll be happy to know that the ‘Television Shows’ section is now accessible in India where you can watch Indian TV serials with full length episodes for free right on the Youtube website.

If you have missed something last night, there is no need to go anywhere else. You’ll find all new and old episodes of almost all popular daily soups, action and adventures shows and classic TV at one place. When you land on the ‘Television Shows’ section on Youtube, you’ll see the top categories like Drama, Reality Shows, Entertainment etc.(as you scroll down) and top episodes in the right panel of the webpage.
You will definitely come across your favourite television shows by going through the categories at the top of the page. Moreover, you can subscribe to your favourite shows’ Youtube channels so that whenever there is a new episode uploaded to the channel, Youtube will inform you about it via email.

Now there is no need to record your TV as Youtube itself provides the free TV shows service. Mostly all the videos are provided by Sony Entertainment TV and Viacom Colors as stated on the Youtube page, and I hope that the selection of shows keep growing. So what are you waiting for? If you have missed your favourite TV serials last week, go ahead and watch all of them on Youtube.
You can access Youtube ‘Television Shows’ section by going toYoutube.com/shows. If you don’t know yet, there is also a movie section ‘Youtube BoxOffice’, launched in June last year by Youtube, where you can watch new and popular Bollywood movies online in HD format for free. The YouTube BoxOffice India channel is sponsored by Intel.
In the battle to become the top entertainment station, Yahoo also launched its service named ‘MoviePlex’ last year, which serves the same kind of content as Youtube’s BoxOffice. I also published a post about Movieplex, check it out. Which entertainment website do you like the most? Drop-in your views in the comment section below.
