Akon to sing in bengali for sharukh khan KKR in IPL 6

Shahrukh Khan can’t control his emotions from expressing his exhilaration since the time his team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) won the IPL season 5 Trophy after a long wait of four long years. Now the actor is arriving with bigger plans for the next season of IPL. He’s all set to rope inthe International pop singer Akon.

As per the latest report, Akon will be singing the anthem of KKR team, ‘Korbo Lorbo, Jeeto Re’ in a new version.

Vishal Dhadlani had sung the anthem ‘Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo Re’ in the beginning, which wascomposed by Vishal-Shekhar and written by filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh. Vishal said to a daily, “TheKorbo, Lorbo, Jeetbo Re anthem has been successful for the team till date. It is related to the victory which everyone witnessed and enjoyed this season. The new version will reflect theentertainment-filled Bengali culture.”

Vishal added, “I can’t say anything about such development, though I’m in continuous touch with SRK and Akon. Only the tune of the chorus will be the same whereas rest will change.”

Sujoy Ghosh told, “One word I assume I would connect with SRK and his team is ‘Rongbaaj’. I was pleased to see the attitude of SRK and his team. The effort that the team showed in winning the finals, thumbs-up to them. They have all rights to enjoy the victory. Rongbaaj exactly fits the bill.” Discussions are still going on between Sujoy and Vishal.

Akon had earlier sung SRK’s Ra One’s ‘Chammak Chhallo’ and ‘Criminal’ with both having Hindi lyrics. Akon had carried off the songs very well.

Well it will be quite interesting to see Akon singing the new version of ‘Korbo, Lorbo, Jeetbo Re’.Hope this upcoming version will work wonders for KKR and his team!
