Director Reema Kagti’s Talaash starring Aamir Khan has been continuously delayed right from this year beginning, but it will now be released on December 7.
The latest change of date has no connection with Aamir’s marketing strategies, but mainly related to superstition, as told by the insiders. Mr. Perfectionist’s three of the box-office hits including Ghajini, Taare Zameen Par and 3 Idiots got released in December around the Christmas time. So maybe this is the cause of shifting the Talaash release date to first week of December, being alucky month for Aamir! Still nothing has been known regarding the date change.
Reasons for Talaash delayed
Director Reema Kagti might be thinking, when will her thriller movie Talaash be released finally, as it has been yet again postponed!
This year the film was decided to be released onJanuary 26.
Then reports came to the forefront that Aamir was quite anxious to change the climax of Talaash which was much alike Vidhya Balan’s Kahaani, so it was rescheduled on June 1.
In between the trailer of Talaash released which was extremely exciting to watch.
As because Aamir became busy with his home production TV show ‘Satyamave Jayate’ which began from June first week, the film headed towards November 30 release.
Though no particular reason is known, but the film is delayed further by a week, to be released onDecember 7.
Salman’s Dabangg 2 might occupy Chritmas slot, obviously Aamir’s Talaash won’t want to come across his friend’s release date.
Akshay Kumar’s Khiladi 786 which is also due on December 7 release and Aamir’s Talaash on the same date might have unfavorable implications on both of the them, unless one party cedes the date. But of course both will have different genres of audience.
