This time actress Sonam Kapoor on her upcoming birthday is not gonna cut cakes and throw parties; rather she’s up to doing something different on June 9. She’s in news for promoting an effective social cause.
Sonam had recently lost her aunt Mona Kapoor who was suffering from breast cancer and hence lost her life. She is encouraging people to contribute their money and spread awareness in the society about this illness.
Sonam being the brand ambassador of ELLE Breast Cancer Campaign, is requesting her fans for a special gift this birthday.
Sonam who is a part of Ogaan Cancer Foundation tweeted, “Every people might have come across someone with breast cancer. Even I lost my aunt this year. So guys, only 4 days to go! I urge friends, family and fans who wish to gift me on June 9, can shower their kind support towardsspreading breast cancer awareness for my birthday and donating to this cause. This will help me to reach my goal.”
She even tweeted the link (given below) where people can do their donations. It is expected that the foundation can raise Rs. 200,000 till Sonam’s birthday on June 9. Till now, Rs 54,356 has been collected. People can donate through cash or cheque. Donate and help Sonam Kapoor cause.
