Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has finally made his television debut with much talked about TV show ‘Satyamev Jayate’, coming up with a completely different concept. From filmmakers to clinical psychologists to professors- anyone to everyone has given thumbs up to his show. They have neither appreciated it, but liked the causes he has brought to the forefront. His highly emotional chat show focuses mainly at bringing a huge change in the society.
His show is purely different than Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan’s game shows which were entertainment-based. Satyamev Jayate is a highly sensible program touching the emotional chord of millions of audience.

The strength of the show relies on the real people and real stories. The first episode aired on Sunday May 6 aimed on the issue of female feticides in India. Everyday such news comes in newspapers and news channels, but hardly any people pay attention to it. Via this show Mr Perfectionist wants to bring out the sensitive issue and presenting it in a hard-hitting way. He invited few women who such problems in life, losing their baby (girl) even before giving them birth. The stories of those mothers were too shocking, how they struggled hard to give birth to their girl child, and how and in which situation they are bringing them up now.
Aamir and his team has in-put enough amount of research, presenting the approximate facts and figures about female feticides. Almost 3 crore girls are killed even before taking birth, that too every year. Especially urban educated people support such practices.

For example, Neetu being a doctor by profession revealed in front of everyone how her in-laws tortured her when they found out that she was pregnant with twin girls. Wife of an orthopedic surgeon, Neetu’s story was an eye opener for all.
After the revelation of three women about facing such problems, there were interviews with experts, doctors and media persons. Two reporters had done a sting operation, even that footage was included in the show. The cost of the girl’s murder is just Rs 2000, and the medical professionals talk about it casually and so as practice it too, is really shocking.
Only the light moment in the whole show of one and half hours was the conversation of Aamir with few young men from a Haryana village. They are all unmarried as the no. of girls in their village is very much low.

We should not compare ever..The thing Amir is doing is totally different than what others did in their shows.Awareness show is totally different than reality show.
