Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani played an appealing host as they threw a grand party at their huge house Antilla on Monday evening March 26, honouring the great legend Sachin Tendulkarfor his brilliant 100th century against Bangladesh in Asia Cup 2012. The master blaster was felicitated at the lovely bash thrown by the Ambanis.

Celebration Time: The party began with champagne and the yummy hors d’oeuvres on the rooftop, later followed by the shift to the ballroom in the lower mansion where the awards’ function was organised to honour Sachin, the master blaster.
The opening ceremony started with Pritam’s song from Ferrai Ki Sawari. A special song was sung for him by Lata Mangeshkar. Host Nita Ambani delivered a small speech for Sachin who was in all praise for his wonderful success, following which Priyanka did the hosting adding some fun to it, before telling Anjali Tendulkar, “Jab Sachin Sir ghooma ke shot maarte hain… toh… tum nahin samjhogi Anjali, kuch kuch hota hai!”
The perfectionist Aamir Khan, the charming Salman Khan, and others talked and praised about the star of the evening Sachin Tendulkar.
A special video song recording was sent by A R Rahman for the Indian cricketer star from London.
Sachin’s wife Anjali too gave an AV praise about her husband, where she spoke “Her special request? I have seen 99 of the 100 centuries you have made. Please quickly score one more, so I can say I have seen all your 100 hundreds. After that you can happily retire!”
PC even spoke to different guests, including Virat Kohli – who told Sachin was the reason he started playing cricket; Bhajji said he did stop flirting with women if he was Sachin for a day, andAbhishek Bachchan – who humourously spoke up about how all his fans wearing the same clothes sat fixed to the TV when Sachin played, had a role to play in scoring his 100th hundred! The luckiest man that evening was television journalist Rajat Sharma who won a personally autographed bat by Sachin in a surprise game of passing the parcel.
Shankar Mahadevan ended the event with his energetic performance. At last the guests enjoyed a nice vegetarian food in the garden place. No one missed the chance to congratulate and shake hands with Sachin, and he willing obliged.
Cheers to the success to the master blaster as he shyly smiled and posed for photographs that lovely evening, hosted by the Ambanis. It was overall a well-deserved appreciation and praise showered on him.
