As per the development sources, the publisher of Hindi Daily news “Dainik Jagran” Jagran Prakashan will surely buy 100% venture in Madhya Pradesh based Media “Nai Dunia”. Still the size of the deal is pending as it is not declared while filling the reports. According to reports,PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) wants to review the Nai Dunia Media for JPL. It is been declared officially that the deal signed on 16/17 February.
It is very near to takeover the properties of Nai Dunia Media that also includes Hindi Nai Duniaand Nav Dunia. If this happens then it will be the second major takeover for in this last couple of years. For better information, the first one was buyout of Mid-Day Info media in May 2010, that deal worth 175 crores rupees.
Recently in December quarter, Jagran reports stated that with the income of 324 crores in has got the profit value of 41.3 crores. By Tuesday it has gone up to 97.4 crores as similar toBombay stake exchange. As it is mentioned above that Jagran has bought Mid Day in Mumbaifrom Tariq Ansari, the deal worth 200 crores including all the stock exchange. In that deal they also included Guajarati Mid-Day, Urdu Mid-Day, which should include its website mid-day.com.
