Actress Preity Zinta’s upcoming ‘Ishq in Paris’ is slated to release in September, instead of June because of the ongoing post-productions issues. She is going to mark a debut as producer. It is heard from the insiders that she has also co-written the script of the film along with the director Prem Raj.
An insider confirms, “For the first time Preity has tried her hand in co-writing the script”, as she shares her name with director and writer Prem Soni as well.
The delay date of the release has disappointed Preity’s fans who have been waiting to see her on silver screen after a gap of four years.
The source said, “Right from the stage of scripting, Preity has been involved, but hardly many were aware of her co-writing the script of the film.”
As per the rumors, the 37-year-old actress is facing many problems because of which the film is being delayed. The makers of ‘Ishq in Paris’ have intentionally kept it undercover to preserve the curiosity of the audience. The film is a romantic one, shot in Paris.
Preity Zinta will be playing the role of an Indo-French girl who falls for someone in the delightful city of Paris, also starring French film actress and singer Isabelle Adjani.
The film is intended to be released in Hindi, English and French, in order to meet global parameters.
The film ‘Ishq in Paris’ is directed by Prem Raj and produced by Preity Zinta’s PZNZ Media, releasing in September.
