West Bengal surely loves Shahrukh Khan and the superstar accepts their affection gracefully. This time also his love for the state has pulled the actor to WB yet again.
Prayag Group has announced actor Shahrukh Khan as the brand ambassador of its state-of-the-art film arena Prayag Film City today April 5, which is scheduled to open next weekend inWest Midnapore district.
The project of Rs.1000 crore Prayag Film City is arriving at Chandrakona in Midnapore district, 165 kms from Kolkata. Prayag’s first phase will be opened on April 15. The project which will be finished in 2 phases, is foreseen as an combined film city complex-cum entertainment destination across 2,700 acres. Popular Bollywood art director Nitish Roy is designing the whole project.
SRK responded saying,“I am associated to the industry and projects like this build its future; so I’m extremely happy to be the ambassador for Prayag Film City.”
According to Avik Bagchi, Managing Director, Prayag Group, “I am positive that the project will stand out to be different, nationally and internationally related to its creativity and technical superiority, thus seeking an altogether distinct place in the global entertainment arena.”
Khan is already the brand ambassador of WB. Last November when he was present at the inauguration of the 17th Kolkata film Festival, accepted the proposal of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to become brand ambassador of the state.
Well the Baadshah who is also owner of the IPL franchise team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), is very much excited to be the ambassador for Prayag Film City now.
