As Yuvraj came back to India, media got chance to have few words with Yuvi. He was standing on his residence terrace while he was talking to media. In his conversation, he said “I’m very much to be back home; very soon I’m planning to have a press conference, hopefully on Wednesday”.
Yuvraj Singh is finally came back to his Mother land India after going through 3 cycles of chemotherapy in United States. Actually, he was suffering with a rare germ cell cancer between his lungs.
His mother “Shabnam” received him at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. He came through British Airways Flight on Monday morning after spending few days in London to recover the effects after the surgery.

As he came out of Airport, we can see his flashing victory sign and a cute smile on his face. He went straight to his white Audi SUV car and moved directly to his home which was situated in Gurgaon. One of his friends who was with him in London while treatment said “He is absolutely fine now, the cancer is completely removed from his inner system”. After 28 years, India has won world cup just because of this awesome player Yuvraj Singh.
On Sunday, Yuvi has twitted saying that “Finally the day has come…! Tomorrow I’m moving to my home! I’m very excited to see my family members and all my friends…! C U India!! Mera Bharat Mahan!” It was really an emotional feeling for Yuvi as he saw a huge crowd of his fans at the exit of Airport long with media frenzy.
Armstrong has sent him a 19-second video on Twitter urging him to move forward optimistically. He added
“Hi Yuvi, This is Lance Armstrong and I welcome you home. You have a huge following and I heard about you each and every hour since you are diagnosed. I’m so glad to see you hale and hearty now. Never give up and have a great life ahead, live strong buddy”.
During his treatment, he also met with some of the great cricketers like Anil Kumble and Sachin Tendulkar. They said him to take rest for few months. Unfortunately, he missed the Australian tour along with that he is not expected to play in ongoing Indian Premier League Season 5 due to his illness.
