• Honda Dream Yuga launch with price in India at Rs 44K


    Japanese company, Honda Motor Co launched its brand new motorcycle ‘Dream Yuga’ in India today May 15. Honda’s 110 cc Dream Yuga is priced and sold at Rs 44,642 (ex-showroom Delhi).
    The company’s Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) also disclosed to rope in Bollywood actorAkshay Kumar as a brand ambassador for the company.

    HMSI’s President and CEO Keita Muramatsu said to the reporters, “Firstly launched in 1949, Honda maintained the brand Dream as section of a global strategy. This new bike is very cheap giving better mileage.”
    The 110cc Dream Yuga includes a single-cylinder engine, developing 9PS of power @ 7,500rpm, and also has a company-affirmed fuel efficiency of 72kmpl.

    It appears in five different colors. The style of this bike is minimalistic and conservative in order to attract the mass segment buyer. It is designed elegantly, boasting of feature-rich self-starter, alloy wheels, long seat, full chain cover, heel-toe gear shift lever and tubeless tyres as option.
    Yadvinder Singh Guleria told the reporters, “We genuinely want to expand our market share in India, and fort this we require mass-market products to do that. Our main aim is to be number one in market share by 2020,” who is the operating head for sales and marketing at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter.
    HMSI first unveiled their 110cc Dream Yuga motorcycle at Delhi Auto Expo 2012, declaring that it will hit the market by May 2012.
    It’s hope that Honda Dream Yuga will give tough competition to running bikes in market such as Bajaj Discover, Hero MotoCorp’s Passion Pro and Splendor Pro, and Yamaha YBR.
    The Honda company sells 110cc motorcycle CB Twister in India. It even sells Aviator, Activa and Dio scooters, and motorcycle models Shine, Stunner, Unicorn and CBR 250.
    Well last fiscal the company sold 21.07 lakh motorcycles and scooters in India. It is intending to sell 27.5 lakh units in 2012-13.
    However the bike lovers would just enjoy riding the Honda Dream Yoga to the fullest!
