• Google gets first self-driven car license in Nevada

Google’s self-driven cars will be approaching on Nevada roads soon after the state’s Department of Motor Vehicles sanctioned the country’s first self-governing vehicle license on Monday May 8.
As per the Nevada DMV informing in a statement, the move was implemented only after the officials rode on the highways, in Carson City neighborhoods and along the popular Las Vegas Strip.
Last year the Nevada legislature gave an approval to the self-driven cars for the state’s roads. This is the first such law in U.S which came into effect on March 1, 2012.

As per the company, the Google’s self-driven cars depend on the video cameras, radar sensors, lasers, and a database of information collected from manually driven cars to help in direction.
Google’s self-driving cars have passed over Golden Gate Bridge and driven along the picturesque Pacific Coast Highway.
Nevada DMV director Bruce Breslow responded, “All the autonomous vehicles are the car of the future.”

Even in the other states, the legislation to manage the autonomous cars is being strongly reflected upon.
California state Senator Alex Padilla told in March, “Via the utilization of computers, sensors and other systems, an autonomous vehicle has the capacity of interpreting the driving environment rapidly and also function the vehicle in a more secure manner,” who initiated that state’s autonomous car legislation.
