Aishwarya Rai Bachchan seems in traditional look again in the 65th Cannes Film Festival, 2012. So the flowing gowns for the new mother has taken a backseat this time!
The Bachchan bahu wore a sari from Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla’s classic collections on the red carpet, as she is sported in off-white chikankari sari and antique gold embroidery, along with her stylized hair which added grace to her beauty. The lady looked amazingly gorgeous. Nobody can deny now that she’s still one of the most beautiful diva.
Aishwarya in Cannes startled everyone with her slim figure when she turned up in a chic Angelo Katsapis outfit.
Unlike her latest appearances in Cannes, she decided to shed her usual salwar kameez look. In fact Aish surprised the media unexpectedly in an Angelo Katsapis outfit, as they have released two of her beautiful pictures taken in Cannes. Nobody could have ever imagined that she managed to drop down so much weight in such less time.
She made her arrival in Cannes on May 23, and had a wardrobe session with New York-based designer Michael Angel and returns to India on May 26.
As per a source close to Ash, “Aishwarya has decided to avoid the designer gowns and go completely in Indian style at Cannes. She’s walking the red carpet on May 24 and 25. Ash selected to stick with Abu-Sandeep collections. Instead of choosing her usual dark colors, Ash has gone pastel this year.”
According to Ash India has so much to offer regarding beautiful hand-crafted ensembles so it’s better to show that off to world.
Aishwarya accompanies her baby, Aaradhya, her nanny, mother Vrinda Rai, hair and make-up stylists and PR agent. A source reveals, “As hubby Abhishek is busy dubbing for his next release, he cannot give company to Ash and the baby.”
All eyes are on mother Aishwarya as she walks on red carpet in Cannes on May 24 and May 25 in her traditional look, representing the glorious India!
