Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Lootera’ has yet again been postponed for aMarch 29 release in 2013, and the reason behind the delay is the lead actor’s busy schedule.
It seems like Ranveer is working hard tremendously, hence recently suffered a back injury, and thus next film Lootera is being postponed to a much later stage. It was planned that the film was to release on October 26, 2012, but it had been postponed to February 14, 2013 because of Singh’s injury. Now it is reported that it will now release on March 29, 2013.
Lootera movie which is produced by Phantom Films and Balaji Motion Pictures, is a period romantic film being directed by Vikramaditya Motwane of ‘Udaan’ fame.
As per Balaji Motion Pictures CEO Tanuj Garg, “Lootera which is the most aspiring epic projects of ours, will be released on March 29 next year on Easter.”
Ranveer will be busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali new film ‘Ram Leela’, as he had already given his dates for the month of January and February.
Director Motwani who had earlier assisted Bhansali in projects such as ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ (1999) and ‘Devdas’ (2000), has no qualms for delaying his film further to be released on March. He didn’t want Singh to miss out on parts of the filming.
Let’s hope Ranveer Singh recovers from his back problems soon!
