As the Indian Premier League (IPL) is processing ahead, controversies seem to engulf it. Pune Warriors’ two cricketers- Rahul Sharma of India and Wayne Parnell of South Africa had beenarrested at the enthused party which took place at the Oakland Hotel in Juhu, Mumbai on May 20. They were told to undergo medical test, but later released on bonds.
Around 100 people were arrested in the party, where as per the police they have found narcotic substances like cocaine and Ecstasy pills. Even theorganizer ‘Vijay Handa’ of the party has beenarrested by the police, under the Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
Among the many people arrested, many freed out today morning involving many celebrity children and people in connection with Bollywood. There were also many foreigners too.
As per the news reports, invitations to the party were posted on Facebook.
Police Commissioner Vishwas Nagre Patil Statement
When raid was conducted at Hotel Oakwoods in Juhu, Additional Commissioner of Police Vishwas Nagre Patil told, “Almost 110 grams of cocaine with MDMA and charas were snatched. Around58 guys and 38 girls were sent to Cooper hospital for a blood and urine test. Those people who’s medical test come out positive, a case will be registered against them. A decent investigation will be done by us to know who has actually organized the party and who were the actual drug peddlers.”
As per Pune Warriors’ Rahul Sharma, “I was present at Oakwoods hotel in Juhu for a birthday party, but it was a different party. I had just reached there but nobody was present. I am currently going to my room.”

Earlier IPL came across allegations of spot-fixing by some players of IPL.
Then there was a tough quarrel of Shahrukh Khan at the Wankhede Stadium with MCAofficials.
RCB player Luke Pomersbach had allegedly molested an Indian American woman.
Then again on Sunday night Sunday 20, 2 IPL players of Pune Warriors were arrested by Mumbai Police at Oakland hotel in Juhu.
